Seven French schools reportedly closed a week after reopening following the emergence of new coronavirus cases at the locations.

About 40,000 preschools and primary schools in France reopened last week — representing a third of the country’s schoolchildren — after shutting their doors because of coronavirus restrictions.

French Education minister Jean-Michel Blanquer on Monday reported about 70 new coronavirus cases linked to schools that had reopened.

10. Schools must remain closed until we get a safe effective vaccine. It's a sad state of affairs but

if it's necessary to save lives then so be it.
