Black conservatives

You know the “ain’t blacks”.....Every time they are trotted out on TV, I already know what they are going to say

- I left the Democratic plantation
- I think for myself
- Black people like to be victims
- what about black on black crime
- America is great and isn’t a racist country
- I am not African American, I am American

And my favorite is that “Black people talk about race too much”, even though the only time they are on tv is to make a comment about race.

They are not true conservatives.

There are some black conservatives that I actually respect. They are true conservative in the traditional sense. I still disagree with them on some political ideologies. But I respect their stance.

Sophia Nelson is great example. She is former republican. Now independent. I quoted her in another thread, "we know the difference between a bad joke and a bad man." She has said she was drawn to the Republican Party by Jack Kemp's ideologies.

I don't put her, Condoleeza Rice, Gen Colin Powell and the black conservatives that I know in the same category as the Diamond and Silk types.

This thread was more for the Diamond and Silks, Candace Owens, Stacey Dash types....you know, their niche is the fact that they are black conservatives...:the others you mentioned have other accomplishments other than being a black conservative and when they are on tv they are brought on to talk about other things besides race

Ask them why they are conservatives or republicans - you get a mumble jumble word salad. No true convictions or ideologies.

Happened in Nazi Germany, happens in the gay community, happens in every single situation, there will always be those that will serve something that will eventually turn on them. They just see it too late or they know full well what they are doing.

12. A great deal of COGIC, A/G and Jehovah Witness members are very conservative and vote GOP.
