No answer yet.

I also want to see more about Pompeo's snooty dinners. The lavish menu. The price of the wines. The cost for the harpist. The goody bags. The name of every guest. The budget. Photos of the designer clothing and the limos.

A simple parabolic dish would pick up every word at 300 yards.
I'm sure there's tech that's way better than the old fashioned rigs we messed with.
We used a 70s era parabolic in a pole barn to double mike a guitar amp. One close mike, a parabolic 80 feet away.
They sounded identical. Except one signal was 80 milliseconds or so behind the other.
Added reverb with a 80 millisecond first reflection and it gave a huge, thick sound with an odd slap effect.
And, we were not audio engineers. Just 4 guys messing around!
Think what experts could do with the best tech!

As a young adult at a genuine par 72 course in Hawaii. The cool thing is, the course Pro was playing in front of him and he certified the Hole in One! Kid was a very good athlete!

Donnie - not so much.
