As the election nears, we will see all sorts of crap thrown at Biden. The other side will dig up whatever they can, amplify any gaffes, make things up from scratch. They are desperate and they will get very, very dirty.
It doesn't matter. I'm still voting for Joe.
This election is as much about throwing the bums out as it is about our candidate. Biden may have his faults, but whatever they are, it doesn't matter. I'm still voting for him. I will walk over hot coals to vote for him. Nothing will stop me. Joe's a good guy and he is a million times better than what we have now.
So, whenever I see BS about Biden online, I just respond with:
It doesn't matter. I'm still voting for Joe.
Repeat and the other side quickly realizes they've hit a brick wall. Nothing they say will work.

(95 posts)That Charlamagne tha God interview was EXCELLENT. Look at the ENTIRE interview. It was great! Just great!
That comment at the end was a JESTFUL way of saying "If you look at my record and Trump's record on issues important to the African American community, the decision is very very easy." And he is exactly right.
Plus "If you aren't.... then you aren't Black." as I understand it is something that host says on that show from time to time. (Correct me if I'm mistaken. I read that on another post.) It is a saying, and Joe was trying to use the saying in that radio interview with that particular radio host. Nonetheless he still apologized for using the wrong wording because he is such a good man.

I have not heard the whole interview yet, but I respect a good and nimble-minded interviewer. The best ones prepare for it, and even prepare questions, and then just start with one and see where the interview leads. Sometimes what's said is so compelling, in one way or other, that you just go with that, and your list of prepared questions slides off your lap and onto the floor.

(9,426 posts)will live a long time, I'm afraid. He has no human emotions or feelings - NONE. Completely wrapped up in himself. Corrupt bastard surrounded himself with others just like him. They stick to him like flies on honey (or something else) maybe flies around a trash dump. I can not name ONE single member of this administration who commands respect, only scorn. Joe will appoint people of intelligence, quality and competence. He will need every last one of them, to clean up the cesspool tRump has created.

(47,430 posts)will diminish the nightmare occupying the White House right now. Deflections and distractions cannot alter the corruption, incompetence, and cruelty of Donald Trump and he is just getting worse with each passing day.

(58,785 posts)further shake your support? An admission that he doesn't like apple pie?
Everyone knows he's a good guy. Telling people you're "still" voting for Joe in spite of a good-hearted, well intentioned remark that merely stumbled too close to many very thin, hypersentive skins is not exactly a strong statement of support. I immediately took your title as an expression of doubt.
Joe's a very decent and honorable man. Everyone knows it, and that's why he's going to become our president next January. Hang on!
THAT's an expression of support.

(33,343 posts)"I'm still voting for Joe" is the boiler-plate response to those who try to manufacture something against Joe. As I see it, it's a way to frustrate their efforts, to make them see that it is futile to attack Joe, that they may as well give up.
There are many, many reasons to support Joe, but those who will make shit up won't listen to reason.

- Smart, likable, responsible, caring, well educated, and with good character.
- Long track records of accomplishments.
- Scandal free terms serving the country.
They gave us 16 years of presidential excellence that left the country better off economically and socially.
But in spite of this goodness, how many lost confidence in Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, because Republicans spent years and millions pushing sketchy or made-up and disgusting smears?

My advice? Ignore the Republican Bullshit machine.
