(43,365 posts)they feel 'lucky'. The typical MAGAt's mindest only thinks of themself. Many, many do not give a fuck about older people, some do not even care about their older family members, they will just say 'well, they need to stay locked up if they are 'weak and scared.'
99.2% of all US CDC documented COVID deaths have come from the 35 years of age and over cohort
97.5% of all US CDC documented COVID deaths have come from the 45 years of age and over cohort
92.6% of all US CDC documented COVID deaths have from the 55 years of age and over cohort

these numbers need updating (they are 10 days old, the CDC is slacking, although the percentages above are holding fast, in fact they are going up slightly, meaning older people are still increasing as the largest cohorts %-wise of the dead)
Under 15 years of age (61 million people in the US), 12 total documented deaths in that cohort. 7 of those deaths were of school age.
Under 25 years of age (over 104 million people in this group), 88 total documented COVID-19 deaths (12 plus 76)
Under 35 years of age (over 150 million people in this group, so getting near half the entire population) 551 total deaths (88 plus 463)
Under 45 years of age (over 191 million people) 1737 total documented deaths (551 + 1186)
