Not surprising. But at this point I just wish they could try and pretend to be at least slightly subtle about their white supremacist privilege. That would just be polite...
As an added bonus - the police are using tear gas during a respiratory virus pandemic. What genius thought that through? BAME communities disproportionately affected by this virus - that attacks the lungs - lets gas them... Good grief

(12,374 posts)California had some version of open carry. Cops were brutalizing blacks. Panthers began following cop cars. Panthers carried shotguns and got out of their cars when cops interacted with civilians.
Charges of police brutality ceased.
Governor Ronnie Raygun responded by having the state legislature ban open carry.
