on FaceBook yesterday that if he chooses an old shoe he found on the side of the road I'm still voting for Biden and she tried to lecture me about his pick being "very important."

I don't care, I'm still voting for Joe and the shoe but I told her I have faith that Joe is smart enough to make a good decision.

with him as his VP. The vetting was arduous, requiring testing to make certain the cucumbers used were not English cucumbers. The bread was made from rice flour to assure the gluten-free population that they would not get runny poops from selecting the Biden-Sandwich ticket.

Vegetarians, vegans, gluten-tolerant, and 70% of the rest of the voters rejoiced.

Not trying to dismiss it or argue that there won't be a flurry of articles and angst-driven analyses once the announcement is made. Some people will love the ultimate choice, others will say it's the end of the world. But . . .

the election will not hinge on the VP selection. The election is about Trump, his incompetence, arrogance, cruelty and stupidity. It's about asking the question in about 15 swing states:

Are you better off today than you were four years ago?

The answer to that question in said states is what the election will hinge on, a mighty referendum on Donald Trump and what he's done to the country, not for the country. Because frankly, the only entity Trump serves is himself.

Policy, legislative fixes and prescriptions for a whole host of concerns? That comes after we win, sweep the stable, decontaminate (and debug) the White House.

Winning is the only thing that matters right now, winning everywhere. Means not simply the WH but sweeping the Senate and holding the House. Because without the two chambers, we get very little done and there's so much to repair, restore and move forward on.

So yeah, I have my own personal favorites for VP. But I will be happy with whoever Joe Biden chooses and will happily vote for that ticket in November. As I expect most rational people to do. Because losing is not an option.

Never forget, never forgive.

As you can probably tell .. (IMO) none of the names I've seen proposed so far would appear to have ANY impact on Obama/Trump voters. Your thoughts?
