Another Reason Why I Hate Him

Since I know that if Trump was making condolence calls, he'd be bragging about it, I know that he's not making them.

A part of me figures he's not making them because the biggest numbers of people dying were in states that he lost to Hillary four years ago. But if he would at least call the MAGAt families, that would show that he has a conscience.

Even Bush Jr. made condolence calls after 9/11. Obama made condolence calls when necessary.

It's just another reason on top of so many other reasons.

"Bad president" doesn't even scratch the surface. "Worst president in my lifetime" is closer.

No, it wouldn't soften the blow, but it would be remembered, and the MAGAt would tell EVERYONE, and Trump would get votes. People might even campaign for him. "The president called us."

The president is missing an opportunity, and he is very stupid.

Obviously, no Democrat would want a call from him, including me. But at least 30% of Americans think he's doing a good job. And I think they would want a call from him.

Maybe you don't want to see it from their point of view, but more than seeing a MAGAt, I see someone who has lost a loved one from COVID-19. I am not heartless. No matter what your political views, you don't *deserve* to lose someone to COVID-19.

The president should be making calls. He is the president. He is THEIR president.

But he is playing golf.

He won't even call his own people.

I actually feel sorry for them... in this particular regard.
