Then add him to his SS detail?

That's nutty enough for his consideration?

if the cop should be charged with a civil rights violation. The county attorney's office still has jurisdiction over whether he should be charged with murder - but with the feds involved Freeman is probably having to wait his turn. Whether the feds charge him will not necessarily affect whether the county attorney does because the crimes aren't the same.

It’s a federal crime when a person who is acting under “under color of any law” (that is, under governmental authority) violates another person’s civil rights “willfully” (18 U.S.C. § 242). The word “willfully” in the federal statute means that the defendants must have had a “specific intent” to deprive the victim of a particular federal right. This, I suspect, is what they are still investigating, meaning they are getting statements from the officers and witnesses, who no doubt have lawyered up (they'd be crazy not to), and they are probably also being roadblocked by that asshat Bob Kroll from the union.

If the officers get arrested they need to let trump know so he can pardon them. Oh yeah, and add them to his administration.

If we had a real president and AG, we would have justice for this family and we would not be as bad.I know we have bad raciest, but Trump/barr is not qualified and they enjoy this crap.I will be so glad when they are gone if they go.

indicated the cops should not be charged, but the weasel wouldn't what type of evidence they are talking about.

I was frustrated trying to follow the press conference. The mic for the govt employees was plenty loud, but I could not hear even half of the questions, so the answers made no sense.
