FBI/State U.S. attorney: No new developments.

Spokeswoman (US attorney) is stating they are conducting a "robust" investigation.

"incredibly disturbing loss of life"

Stating DOJ has made investigation a top priority.

Looking to see if the (now) former LEO committed any felonies or civil rights violations.

Asking people to remain calm as investigation continues.

She actually said she was "pleading" for calm.

Two parallel investigations DOJ/state criminal justice investigators as well as FBI investigation.

Prosecutor (Freeman)for the county speaking - outlining who they have talked to so far.

Investigation will take time. Asking for patience. Will be transparent.

BCA spokesman talking. Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. All info to be turned over to state/county attorneys (prosecutorial) and the FBI.

First woman, US attorney, talking the need for calm again.

More pleas for peaceful protests from others.

More pleas for patience.

Michael Freeman, Hennepin county attorney supports call for National Guard. Says he has to prove the act by the LEO was criminal. Calls for patience.

Talking about allowable force v. excessive force - with what qualifies as excessive being defined by law.

They all expressed the need to get all their "ducks in a row" as opposed to being hasty. Hasty could result in no charges or no convictions was a point they all stressed.

From my own POV: I wasn't reassured at all. It was like hearing several people reading the same form letter out loud. Same old, tired, heard it all before, form letter.

I admit my patience ran out a long time ago.

It's beyond comprehension to tell people to give the system a chance when it's the system oppressing them.

the jack booted racist murdered George Floyd in front of the world. If that had been any one of us, we'd be arrested as soon as the video aired. As a country, we are a gigantic ASS.

death, of the same response from authorities.

Like they're treating each and every death, each and every act of abuse by the police as separate events that have nothing in common.

All saying be calm, be patient, trust the system.

Police are part of the system and they're the ones doing the killing.

7. I know, they don't learn a thing, arrest the guys, do the bail song and dance, no one sees, done.

Months/years later the interest will be there when they finally see a judge multiple times, same old song and dances there as well.

It's a twisted job, granted, and someone has to do it, and these are your finest?

Meanwhile saw here on D.U. that Officer Chavin and Mr. Floyd actually worked together as security guards?

So there might be a lot more to unwrap here than usual, also?

In any case this inability to evolve past greed and corruption is sad AF.
