Just to show that people are really upset and want to punish the perpetrators.
Which is apparently everybody that's not them.

(5,124 posts)I give a damn about the trauma and the pain those young people are feeling. I give a damn about the nausea, and knot in my stomach that I have daily worrying about the safety of my child.
Paul Butler said it best tonight. Its not about what is happening in Minnesota tonight, its about that America has never been safe for black people. I don't give a fuck about Target when we get up everyday and feel like we can't exist without being hunted.

(6,110 posts)and I spent 3 decades living in Chicago, where cops are known to be rough.
But I never felt threatened because I never argued with the cops. If they stopped my car, which was many times,
I politely told them I was sorry for speeding or whatever the cop said I did, and half the times they let me go without a ticket.
Other half times I went to the traffic court and told the judge some sob story, and almost never got fined.
The judge would just order me to go to one day traffic laws education school in Chicago.
So I can not really say that lot of cops want to hurt dark skinned people.

(37,748 posts)And said with the precise same amount of sincerity as was yours.
Or you could, y'know... focus on the three common denominators of ALL riots in the post-industrial age. Blaming steam for escaping a teapot is a waste of time if one dutifully ignores the stove itself.
But I get it... it certainly allows for the warm comfort of self-serving sanctimony.
Again, " though the truth of it stands off as gross as black and white, my eye will scarcely see it..." (Shakespeare... give him a read one day)

(6,930 posts)Not only dishonest, but apparently not very bright to steal in a store that has cameras.
It's going to be easy to identify many of those people.
As soon as the cops start asking for help from the community and announcing rewards - they're going to regret wanting those sheets, TVs, clothes quite so much.
