In ALL justice, power and responsibility are the EXACT SAME THING

So often I've said that power and responsibility are two sides of the same coin- but it's even more than that.

In this world, as a thinking human being, if you are given even the slightest power over anyone-- any privilege that requires others maintain a reciprocal faith in you, whether it be money, political or organizational power, parenthood, or driving a vehicle on a two-lane road- you immediately, and without any reservation, hedging, or excuse, take on an equivalent responsibility to make sure that any and all exercise of that power, within reason, duly accounts for the well-being and fair interests of those others.

No rationalization can escape this inherent moral duty of the position one has assumed, in power. If you presume yourself to be a decent, good human being, it is simply the way it is.
