Bystander Jared Arms captured a video of protesters blocking off a section of the road with their cars and setting something on fire when the FedEx truck approached. As it came to a halt, a crowd of protesters surrounded the front of the truck and began banging and climbing onto the passenger side.

(16,199 posts)A crowd pounding on your vehicle is frightening, and the man killed chose to crawl between two hitched trailers in an obvious blind spot, which was incredibly stupid. Its likely the driver believed the crowd pounding on the truck meant to harm him and so he took off.

(8,329 posts)This is why some type of order must be restored. The driver most likely had no idea there is a person stuck between the trailers.
He now has to live with the fact that he was involved in the loss of a human life.

(2,955 posts)If an angry crowd surrounds my car and starts trying to break in I'm assuming my life is in danger and stepping on the peddle.
