my first thought was about how he would try to take some credit for it.
The following thought was that he was right there to witness the stunning product of science at work, and that he would return to DC and continue to disparage and defund the science that would otherwise help us deal effectively with the pandemic he helped spread by ignoring the science.

I didn't realize an entire manned launch system could be developed in 3 1/2 years. I thought it was closer to a decade. Fat Donnie didn't know shit about the U.S. space program until he figured out a way to get credit for it.
Right now he's working on a way to brag that he was responsible for the Apollo moon landing.
