I didn’t attend this one because of need to be socially distanced (we’re seniors), but I’ve been there for a number of previous ones. The only thing that worries me is that I know how crowded the El trains get, and that is people’s main means of transportation to these events. The train cars are packed like sardines. Even with masks, this seems dangerous.

But sometimes you have to take risks when the stakes are high. I thank the younger people (and some older, I’m sure) who put themselves on the line for this. Hope nobody gets sick.

to the march. I would love to be at the back of the crowd where things are quieter supporting the cause.

What amazing, difficult work you do. Thank you from my heart for the care you give.

To cheer you up, here’s a good Chicago cowboy who’s figured out out to get to the protest safely ... and with style!

Good for them. I hope they are all wearing masks. As much as I support the protests, I worry about the number of people who may get sick.
