Some protesters, news crews, and medics in Minneapolis found themselves stranded after recent protests: The tires of their cars had been slashed.
Many assumed protesters were to blame. But videos reveal a different culprit: the police. https://bit.ly/30nl8XQ

Minneapolis Police slashed every tire on my rental car, as well as every tire of every car in this parking lot.

For those asking how I know it was the police... police overtook this entire area shortly after the protest began. No protester wouldve been able to get in here after that. I got stopped by National Guard and was able to get through with my press badge. It was the @MinneapolisPD
The police also destroyed the entire medical encampment that was put up in the same parking lot. What a disgrace.
Video proof of police slashing tires.

(36,262 posts)They know that a lot of people will hear about the damage by word of mouth and assume it was all caused by the protestors, not by police or provocateurs. FBI needs to look into such practices -- starting in January, of course.

(3,816 posts)I convinced all of this unlawful behavior by cops is being orchestrated by AG Barr's "Justice" dept.
They really are tying to follow the Hitler playbook with false flag ops and stormtrooper tactics.

(51,308 posts)I like the mayor, but he seems to have lost the plot early on. I do feel for him though; this went badly very fast. Not sure how I feel about the governor there.
Much more impressed with Mayor Bottoms, as well as the two mayors of DC and Chicago.

(18,654 posts)A couple nights back there were reports of carloads of white guys driving around Minneapolis flying Confederate and Nazi flags while they set fires.
Somehow not a single picture was ever taken of these cars...

(46,705 posts)The police disrupted a group of agitators that came from outside. They discovered the outsiders brought rocks in their cars, and the cars were also rentals. So, by slashing the tires they stopped them from driving from one block to the other to continue violent clashes.

Do you not think a corrupt department capable of murder is capable of slashing and deflating tires? Shame on you. BLM.

Was the murder of Mr. Floyd a hoax, too? Shame on you.

(3,003 posts)You do remember just why these protests started, right?
In the list of shit that police do these days, from murder in the streets to rape in the back of their cars, slashing tires is tame by comparison.
Police have proven, time after time, that they no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt. If you're still giving them that benefit, then congrats - You're a police apologist, and you're part of the problem.

(4,868 posts)If these acts of violence weren't caught on tape they would be dismissing them also. If you're capable of murder you're capable of slashing tires. BLM.
