MAGA Night = Kristallnacht 2020 off today.

Last night they were out in full force attacking all kinds of people, including the press who had press credentials. They seemed to be targeting the press last night almost as if they wanted no one watching what they were doing next, up to and including macing a kid right in the face and shoving an elderly man to the group and shooting paintballs onto a person's front porch simply because they were on their damn own front porch. A lot of the other crap they were doing was even worse. They clearly want all cameras, people with cameras, the press, and anyone else who would tell on them out of the way so they can be themselves more, which is not a good thing.

Yes, there were a few good ones and even some who agreed that what happened was horrible and even some who marched with protesters, but FAR too many are out there acting bad, which seems to be their natural state.

Cops are people too with kids and dogs and spouses and Little League coaches and mortgages. Most are good and decent who truly want to help others. Some are right wing assholes who lack intelligence and empathy. Just like our society. Generalizations are products of lazy thinking.

.... were not decent people, we'd be living in a very different country. One that would make the current situation a daily event, and and on a much wider scale. Imagine if every cop in the country with the exception of the "few" good ones so many people believe there are, turned in their badge, and declared, "You're on your own." If anyone believes things would be better for them, they would only be lying to themselves.
