Here's some "Moochers" for you Mittens...
Any Veterans who use the VA or GI Bill
Any Retired Military who have a pension
Any kid going to college that has a Federal Government Subsidized Student Loan
Anyone who has visited a National Park Including Mt. Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Gettysburg, etc.
Anyone who has used any Interstate in the US
Anyone who has used Amtrak
Anyone who has watched PBS or listened to NPR
Anyone mother who has used WIC (like my wife did)
Anyone who has taken a prescription drug can trust it isn't arsenic or some other non-regulated garbage
Anyone who has eaten FDA approved meats
Anyone who has flown and not died in a midair collision or ground collision due to FAA and Air traffic control
Anyone who has flown and the wings haven't fallen off due to FAA inspectors
Anyone who has enjoyed the security of living in the US because of our military
Anyone who has needed to use welfare to help them in tough times
Anyone who has needed to use Cobra during tough times
Anyone who has needed to use disability during tough times
Anyone who has appreciated the awesome weather reports, especially severe reports for tornadoes and hurricanes, from NOAA
Anyone who listens to the radio and doesn't have to hear static on each channel because the FCC regulates the frequencies...same for TV and Cable.
Anyone who has paid into the Federal Social Security program or Medicare/Medicaid.
Anyone who has ever used the US Postal Service.
Anyone who has ever had a water-borne emergency and has needed the US Coast Guard.
I could go on and on and on...but the Federal Government is here to help us and protect us. If that is called "Mooching" then I am a "moocher." Fuck you Mitt.

(67,112 posts)rest of our backs with Corporate Welfare and Wall Street Welfare. I paid a hell of a lot of taxes in my time, but I am part of the 47% and probably in many ways contributed a hell of a lot more to this society than many of Romney's ilk.

(25,415 posts)purse. And then shove it in the face of the right wingers and teabaggers that talk to me about "government dependency". I even want to show it to my conservative voting parents. Is there one person in the United States today that has not used something provided by the government in any way?
Mittens also insulted the very people he is counting on to vote for him. Those over 65 poll the best for him and yet they are part of that 47%. Der, Mitt.

(238 posts)I guess I'm a moocher too. Went to Niagra Falls, Fort Niagra, Fort Ticonderroga and Acadia national parks on vacation with my grandchildren.

(67,112 posts)great time. Gee, and we used those roads President Eisenhower pioneered too, I guess I'm a real moocher.
What the hell has Romney done. Gov. of MA? A lot of people did not like him at all, thought he stunk as gov.
Made money for himself, he was born with that, he just leveraged it.
Created jobs? I was in MA then, he ruined a lot of careers. Job creator, hell, he's a job destroyer.
How much more do Americans need of hearing this stream of BS from this guy. Are many in our society that stupid that they're going to fall for this guy's line.
I know people that are monied, they can't stand Romney, they think he's an absolute jerk.

(12,121 posts)Happily paying my taxes for national parks, and roads, and public health and public education and environmental safety and the USPO and our roads and as much mass transit as we can get, and
I really would like more of my war taxes transferred to Medicare for All.
We really are the 99% who love our country and want us to help one another even more.
We pay our taxes and want them to do more for us here at home.

(6,169 posts)Especially for all of these things an individual would never be able to afford or do on their own? This is the reason people formed groups/societies in the first place!
The real freeloaders are corporations that pay their workers so little they qualify for government help. They're the ones who feel "entitled". Entitled to cheap labor and huge profits.

(5,535 posts)I was wondering if anyone was going to take this tack.
We are not moochers, we are participants in a society.
We need the government and the government needs us.
It is a relationship. Which is why we choose to be in that relationship with someone who cares about us rather than someone who tells us we are not worthy.
I pay taxes and I vote for Obama. Screw Romney.
