Please don't call this "bountygate." Call it Treason.

Adding “gate” to the latest scandal du jour is hackneyed and actually lessens any scandal. There are so many “gate” scandals that they all run together in a meaningless line of increasingly watered down inside the beltway brouhahas.

This isn’t just another run of the mill alarm.

The president of the United States knew that Russia paid Taliban fighters a price per dead American soldier. He knew and not only did nothing but removed 25,000 troops from Germany but also tried to get Russia added back to the G7.

This is treason.

And it deserves to be called that.

Hope you'll forgive me, but I used your line verbatim, because it says what needs to be said.

The president of the United States knew that Russia paid Taliban fighters a price per dead American soldier. He knew and not only did nothing but removed 25,000 troops from Germany but also tried to get Russia added back to the G7.

This is treason.

Not that anything will happen. Until November.

Trump is sickening.

One of the repeated injuries inflicted upon the New Orleans Saints by the NFL powerful was to suspend its coach and players because some players had an informal bonus system for many on-field accomplishments, including violent hits upon opponents.

It was called Bountygate.

So, yeah, the term is hackneyed and worse, it’s already been used.
