Bountygate: Are the deaths of soldiers being reviewed?

It seems to me the story could be easily proven by reviewing the deaths of soldiers for the past 2 years or so

Of course the "fog of war" comes into play but I'm sure the deadly incidents have after action reports documented

To wit:
We're they combat related or assassinations, ambushes etc
Who were the combatants? The.story indicates Taliban linked militias of which there are many there
I would think the attacks would have to be low risk types of events for the aggressors. Hard to collect your money when you're dead.

So the Russians and the Taliban can deny direct involvement. I dont think the Taliban would work with the Russians actually

So find the militias working with the Russian spies and get some proof. Get on those Russian spies as well

I think for the surviving members of the soldiers families, their peace of mind AND the safety of active duty troops everywhere this shit needs to be investigated

1. So you think that the Taliban has too much integrity to work with the Russians?

And you would rather believe your preconceptions than CIA intelligence reports that have been verified by our allies?

Study the history of Afghan wars
There are shit tons of militias
Some of whom fight each other all the time

The Taliban hate the Russians from the invasion in the 80s The Russians were brutal

No worries on the tone, it is a situation drought with emotion

I am angry about it myself

And oh yeah money. Even the US pays off militias and war lords there. All the time.. Not
To kill though, to stop fighting .

The Russians never did that

Nixon actually tried to stop heroin trafficking by paying off poppy growers

Again not Taliban

And again fog of war

There's a lot of dirty players there

My initial point stands: Study the deaths to get to the truth

Repubs are saying " if the story is true" then xyz

So let's get proof

At least not by the administration. They will just go with "just say it's not true" as per their great and omnipotent leader.

Although Liz Cheney is saying today " if the story is true" blah blah blah

If it's true the admin will have to cover up the PDB stories

I think given the volatile nature of this story the truth will win out. We may get a whisleblown

The military needs to know, for one

9. Again the report

The reporting is. "Taliban linked militias, or Afghan militants and criminals"

The friend of my enemy is my enemy

There are shit tons of competing militias and Afghan warlords. Many of them fight each other when they are not fighting Americans

Russia paid the money for sure. But to whom?
