Illinois restricts youth sports for Fall - no competitive football or hockey (Pritzker on now)
No contact practices and team scrimmages only for soccer.
Can't find the references grid. Baseball, tennis, golf OK for competitive games, as lowest risk.

1. Just heard him announce it. We were going to take our kid to volleyball practice tomorrow. But I
agree that we need to be careful. As the states surrounding us aren't exactly examples of being responsible (with obvious exceptions, of course). Can't wait for the "FREE ILLINOIS...." verbal turds.

2. Restrictions start August 15 - we have baseball practice this afternoon and two games this weekend
Heartbroken to hear about soccer.

Gov. J.B. Pritzker said the state will be "restricting youth and adult recreational organized sports," including school-based sports, beginning Aug. 15. The restrictions do not include professional or collegiate sports. |
