Tonight, as a lifelong Republican, I formally announce my support for
@JoeBiden
for president. We cannot afford four more years of indecency, incompetence, and immorality from this administration. Let us work together as patriots to get out the vote and put #CountryOverParty

Trump isn't the only problem. They are only going against Trump now because they perceive weakness. The entire Republican Party needs to be voted out.

I think the fear here with some posters is that somehow Democrats will pick up the Republican disease, by association. November 4th they can do whatever they want, but the Democratic Party needs unity until then, and not spurn help no matter what the quarter.

But fuck them so much.

We are where we are because of them. It's not like Romney, McCain, Bush, Bush, Reagan, Ford or Nixon were really anything other than polished Trumps. I would have left Ford out of the list, but he pardoned Nixon, so fuck him; he's part of the problem.

Republicans suck, always. I am glad they are voting Biden, but fuck them.

And all these other fucks have been showing themselves since they helped Putin elect. I will NOT enjoy them as "allies". They are not. They are late to the party. They are so late it is PATHETIC!

Three years ago I had some hope for some to come around. But this is WAY late and they have all shown us who they are and support.

No, it's right on time. A lot of people seem determined to somehow punish those who have finally realized they've been on the wrong side of this for a long time. We are trying to get Joe Biden elected as the next president of the United States. The the only logical answer to those who admit they were wrong and are seeking to make amends is, "WELCOME, COME ON IN!"

I wish that all progressives could muster the same courage, and give their direct and unambiguous endorsement of Joe Biden. It really serves no good purpose for anyone in our party to play coy with whether or not they support Joe Biden (ie: grudging stating that they oppose Trump, but not that they support Biden). And then there are those who prefer to give their "non-support" insults (ie: like Nina Turner's "half a bowl of shit" comment.)

In this regard, I have so much more respect for Republicans (such at Avery Pereira) than I do for ideologically puritanical progressives who believe that there's some advantage to withholding their endorsement, or who hint at not voting, or voting third-party (again).
