Falwell and his lawyers realize that he's about to lose the golden goose that's made his licentious lifestyle possible. He has to fight to hold onto some of the money and perks he's enjoyed his whole life.

In the end, I suspect he'll lose. It gives me a ray of hope to see such an asshole taken down so spectacularly.
