We must remind the cult that Trump was put in place to expose the radical fringe that will be herded into FEMA reeducation camps. Is mental illness covered by Obamacare?

(7,927 posts)with the rhetoric of the first night and that of cults, and how they control their followers.
Hype, add some fear mongering, stir in some racist leanings, another sprinkle of fear of the unknown, demonize the 'others', and you have a cult.
But yeah, if Trump told them the Democrats would render the unborn from the womb before their eyes, take away their guns, and make them swear allegiance to Big Brother (aka 'Biden'), they would believe him. In such a state of insanity, Trump can get them to do anything he orders them to do.
Tell you what - just cut to the end chapter, where they drink the Flavor-Aid and lie down and smile, thinking the Mother Ship will come to collect them.
Because that is how it's going to end, if they don't smarten up soon.
Yes, batshit cray-cray. And dangerous.
Expect the next few nights to crank the cray-cray up to Force 11.

(51,271 posts)was the main takeaway.
Dem cities with Chinatowns are the main reason COVID is surging out of control through rural Southern states. Also lots of COVID survivors happily claim it's not that bad, just take antibiotics and zinc, Trump himself took those things and hydroxychloroquine for some unknown reason like prevention.
Also America must not be great right now since it needs to be made great again, again. So whoever has been in charge the last 3.5 years will make it great again. or something like that.
Marxist revolutionaries are not only destroying peaceful law abiding suburbs, they are getting elected to Congress. Guns will solve this problem somehow.

(4,128 posts)It's a gotta watch moment that crystallizes the insanity of true Trump believers. I also doubt she wrote that drivel herself as I saw the hand of Trump and his crazy WH messaging staff at hand.
Oddly, she'll be remembered as the low point of the convention as I don't see any other flame-throwers coming even close to her bat shit crazy, loudspeaker rant!

(10,297 posts)a blank check. He alone gets to decide what programs/projects he would do and the amount of tax money he will spend on them.
And that is OK with all of the Republican members of Congress. It reminds me of a horse that my cousin had. She was a fantastic quarter horse named Cookie. We had an irresponsible neighbor who owned a knot-head stallion name "Bubba". Bubba wasn't worth the cost of one year of his feed. Everyone told the owner to get Bubba fixed, but he didn't. One night, Bubba broke out and impregnated Cookie. We are "Cookie" and Trump is "Bubba".
Extremely disappointing that those GOP Members of Congress don't have standards of quality. If they want a fascist dictator, they should go to the top and get at least a colonel. Maybe a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is interested.

(1,358 posts)I was too busy watching "the Resistance" on PBS that I recorded early that morning.
Kinda funny, they were Anti-Fa of the 1940s.
And Trumps platform is get rid of the AntiFa?
I think I seen how it ends, the Americans will win the fight in 45. So, in November, we Americans again will win during 45 reign of power and round up his Nazi Party members. Hold them like the Nuremberg Trials.

(7,927 posts)is not good policy for the RNC.
Saying the RNC 2020 policies are those of the 2016 election, isn't going to do it. We have seen where they lead.
Saying 'Trust the Magnificent Leader' on making up policy on the fly, isn't going to work either.
The RNC approach to politics is clearly based on present and past Dictatorships.
Why some people can't see that, is beyond me.
