(15,089 posts)I received one of those from my friend. Thick sliced half of it and put on the BBQ with evoo, garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, and finished with a sprinkle of parmesan. Going to grate the rest and freeze for future zucchini bread.
Or make a boat.

(14,118 posts)that zucchini recipes (over 900) abound*. The recipes are free, as they should be since I'm using
over 500 bucks worth of equipment to use the internet which I also pay monthly to access.
But then anyone who knows somebody who grows zucchini will always have a free source of it.
I guess it's true that if you grow zucchini you'll feed the world!

(12,904 posts)I visited my sister in laws garden Saturday, and found a zucchini that was 4.5 feet long! It had gotten hidden under the leaves of a wandering pumpkin plant. They tried to get us to take it home with us, but hubs told them hed have to go get the trailer!
Her pumpkins are glorious, though.
