I've been asking this same question.

One thing: He's very litigious. Keeps everyone in court to the point they just give up. Hell, he and his dad counter-sued the Federal government. He even stiffs his lawyers.

But today, he has very intelligent, influential, powerful, very rich people down on their knees kissing his ass.

How? Why? I have some answers for some of them, but not everyone. I just don't get it.

And those he's unable to coerce ... well, he just keeps on truckin'. No conscience. I don't get it.
