9. This could end Neal's career despite the fact he won today.

Also progressives look to be winning some other districts in Massachusetts even if this is the most high profile race

10. So, did he or did he not have inappropriate sexual relations with his students?

If he did, it is not a """fake scandal."""

From your article, he apparently apologized for having such relationships, so I assume that it is true.

12. And the article you posted as proof of that said no such thing about Neal.

In fact, the article says:

Neal's campaign has denied any connection to the writing or publication of the letter and there is no evidence he was aware of or did anything to stoke the controversy.

The subset of progressives that are pushing candidates like these need to vet them better beforehand. Supporting Bernie and/or Bernie's pet policies and judging whether or not someone is worthy based on that alone has resulted in that subset of progressives putting forth some very undesirable candidates.

Reading your article, I might have been inclined to support a legitimate, credible, and reputable progressive challenger since they mention that -- if Neal were to lose -- Doggett would take over Neal's position on the Ways and Means Committee and probably pursue more a more aggressive approach.
