Imagine the smell. Imagine the liquefied rot of meat and the putrid, bubbling produce. Trump is that kind of soup.

I had cleaned a couple others over the weekend. Nowhere near as traumatizing.

He is disabled. Couldn't really do it himself.

How are you doing, Solly? I assume you have power now? I've been thinking about you and hoping you are okay.

The mobile hotspot allows me to go online in rural areas when I'm away from home and there's no free wifi offered by businesses.

Came in handy at home after the power first went out. Well, until its battery died.

It's a dedicated hotspot that frees my phone up. Used to use my phone as a hotspot.

I'm OK. Getting the house cooled down helped. Got fans running off the generator as well. Got a hot meal yesterday. First in days.

Hanging in and adapting. Though I'm more than ready to revert back to the decadence of electricity, AC, and too many food choices. lol

Not really kind. He needed it done. Was sorry I got to that one last though. I did scold him for trying to create new life forms. Lot of leftovers.

And water. So much damage to some water supply systems.

Please take care of yourself!

in that situation.

Even those with some cash can't afford to stay in hotels for weeks and weeks.

Jobs gone. All that could go bad has gone bad.

It's overwhelming to think about.

Still in the mid to upper 90's.

Lake Charles is home to about 80k people. That's thousands of refugees scattered about. I can't imagine how lost and helpless they feel.

Some came here during evacuation only to get hit anyway. It's a hot mess all around.
