DOSE OF JOE -- Sep 3

Friends -- see below for today's Dose of Joe.

Yesterday, Joe Biden delivered remarks on how Trump’s failure to address COVID-19 is impacting students, educators, and children, and his plan to safely and effectively reopen schools. You can watch HERE and read his plan to reopen safely HERE.

The campaign in tandem with the DNC, and their joint fundraising committees announced that they raised a combined $364.5 million in August! 95% of that came from grassroots donors stepping up in unprecedented ways, giving $5, $10, or whatever they can. And last month alone, the campaign brought in 1.5 million new donors.

In an interview exclusive to NBC 6/Telemundo, Joe Biden discussed a wide range of topics, including the impact of COVID-19 across the country and within the state of Florida, recent protests, and Trump’s failed Cuba and Venezuela policies.

In an open letter, 81 U.S. Nobel Laureates in science and medicine endorsed Joe Biden for president— the largest number of Nobel Prize winners ever to endorse a candidate for office. In their open letter, these esteemed individuals cited Joe Biden’s “deep appreciation for using science to find solutions, long record of making policy, informed by science, and pro-science agenda and sensible approach to public health decisions” as reasons for their endorsement.

In response to Donald Trump’s new ads in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Biden for President Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director Kate Bedingfield released a statement rebuking Donald Trump for refusing to condemn violence of all kinds, stoking division and chaos as a political strategy, and failing to provide the leadership the country so desperately needs.

Recent polls including Quinnipiac, Politico/Morning Consult, and YouGov reveal that the American people do not feel safe in Donald Trump's America: not safe from the spread of COVID-19, not safe from economic ruin, not safe from crime and looting, not safe from racially motivated violence, not safe from bad cops.

JOE’S TWEETS TO AMPLIFY

@JoeBiden: They're rooting for chaos and violence because they think it helps them win a second term. Now ask yourself, is that really who you think should be running the country?

@JoeBiden: We’re just over two months from Election Day. But in many states, you don’t have to wait until November to make your voice heard. Head to http://IWillVote.com and make a plan to vote early today.

@JoeBiden: We all want students back in the classroom, but President Trump hasn't done the work to make sure schools can reopen safely and effectively. @KamalaHarris and I will be ready on day 1 with a roadmap for reopening.

meme and people are noticing. He's totally on top of things as opposed to the hateful, at times delusional clown show of "fake new" yeling and lying a mile a minute trump.
