Whether he did it in self defense or not is still to be seen. He went there, armed, and this happened. The police caught up to him and killed him. Whether they had to do it or not is still to be seen. All I can say is that this is one narrative that will be used, its not mine nor do I believe it necessarily without proof, but he used self defense like the Trump supporter and the police killed him for it while they arrested without incident the trump supporter.

reading about his previous entanglement when he was shot in the elbow. Especially for the incident in Baker County, Oregon where he was nabbed driving 111 mph while racing his son, with his young daughter in the car.

It was in the article I read about today's incident. This guy has a lengthy record of run-ins with law enforcement this summer.

On July 26, he was involved in a skirmish during which Reinoehl was shot in the arm.

On July 5, police seized a 9 mm from him when they arrested him on allegations of having a loaded gun in a public place, interfering with police and resisting arrest. The allegations were later dropped.

Reinoehl was wanted on a failure to appear warrant stemming from the aforementioned June 8 speed racing case in Baker County. He was racing his 17-year-old son at speeds in excess of 100 mph, heading east on I-84. His 11-year-old daughter was in the car with Reinoehl. Cops found marijuana, "unidentified prescription pills" and an unlicensed, loaded Glock pistol in the vehicle with him.

I'd say that all indicates this guy's judgement was suspect at best. To be that reckless with his daughter, plus calling attention to yourself when you're riding dirty with weed and pills is pretty dumb.

Sounds like he was on the run. Rather him being killed by the police was justified or not I don't know enough to even form an opinion.
