Ben Domenech is the SON-IN-LAW of John McCain. His wife is (understandably) quite devoted to the memory of her father Sen McCain.

So what do you think? Link to tweet

I have never once predicted that something in particular would bring him down. He's gotten away with so much. When he sailed past the Access Hollywood "grab 'em by the pussy" tape, I know we were in deep trouble; that this was a cult.

This is a whole new ballgame and this will be the end of Trump.

Trumpers are emotionally invested in their leader. They really believe that, if he isn't kept in power, abortion and same-sex marriage will become permanent and irreversible, Christianity will be outlawed, guns will be confiscated, and a whole army of "woke" minority and antifa types will move in and establish a dictatorship where they, as "normal" white Americans, will be turned into second-class citizens.

Do you really think they'll allow that cavalcade of horrors, just because their President was a little "indiscreet" about soldiers who have been dead for over a century?

has put bounties on foreign soldiers. This is different. This is mocking our brave soldiers who died for us by calling them suckers for fighting for their country in the first place.

This is a death blow for Trump.

Military Times conducted a poll that shows Biden leading amongst service members. That is absolutely unheard of. In 2016 Trump won those polls easily.

Btw, can someone please post/repost the pic of the little boy told that his dead father had a bounty on his head (something to that effect)?

It was so moving that I want to print it out & post it around my rightwing neighborhood right before the election. Lots of retired military here.

Thanks.

There are so many, starting with the 2016 campaign, never stopping. His heart looks like a porcupine.

Yet he walks on. Sort of.

GOTV is the only effective stake.

Trump’s supporters aren’t moved by Trump saying stupid or obnoxious things. If it’s not caught on camera they won’t believe it. If it is caught on camera they’ll say “everyone knows Trump’s a loudmouth.... but, but .... Biden supports burning cities down!”

Rinse and repeat.

They led with the denial and kept the denial in the graphic for the whole story. Expect the "fake news" approach and all that it entails. I fear that this will be just another speed bump like the Russian bounty story. Any voter who is prone to be moved by the story and believe the sourcing and documentation has probably already moved against Trump for other transgressions.

That said, I hope this story has a long shelf life. It would be nice if the sources stood up and put their names to it, about one every other day or so to keep it going.
