Let me just say that it is wonderful to see DU having such a good laugh

since afternoon.

A shout out to all the hilarious threads and posts about the lake rehearsal for the sinking of the Con's ship of state. Can't remember the last time we had such a good time

Having worked and played on a few boats myself, gotta admit I got a good laugh out of it. It is a metaphor for the incompetence. You can’t keep a boat afloat on pure bullshit.

I live in old Lakeway and am happy to know I’m not the only one who couldn’t stop laughing when I started seeing the social media posts about the boat parade. Funniest thing I’ve seen in a long, long time.

There are going to be charges filed and lawsuits enjoined, from what I understand about what happened.

Still, it's a hell of a lot easier to be swamped in a lake than it is in the ocean.

I just hope those drunk shitbags lose those big boats they were roaring down the lake at full speed in.

(I had an overdose of drunk, rich shitbags in oversized stinkpot yachts when I lived in Mass.)
