Published 1 min ago on September 5, 2020By Bob Brigham
Longtime Donald Trump fixer Michael Cohens forthcoming tell-all book were reported on Saturday after The Washington Post obtained a copy.
President Trumps longtime lawyer and personal fixer, Michael Cohen, alleges in a new book that Trump made overt and covert attempts to get Russia to interfere in the 2016 election and that the future commander in chief was also well aware of Cohens hush-money payoff to adult-film star Stormy Daniels during that campaign, the newspaper reported.
Apologies cannot copy more. More at link.

(7,715 posts)Whatever folks say about Michael Cohen, he appears to have come totally clean and has nothing to lose.
I truly look forward to what he says about the Fat Slob!

(6,829 posts)I'll be happy to be proven wrong but Cohen won't expose any of that shit imo.
And that's why he'll be allowed to live

(244 posts)Unless I missed some alleged evidence. However, there is plenty of reason to believe that there is laundering of Russian money. Trump condos are like little Moscow.

(5,477 posts)Steel and concrete, especially during the 80's and 90's, were highly controlled commodities back then. The Russians weren't the only ones doing money laundering for these folks.
The contractors were also very much under mob influence.
tRump was eyeballs deep in all of this.

(53,410 posts)is that if the mob was really in complete control of the all the concrete and steel then every single builder in Manhattan is in it up to their necks too. Thats the way the mob works.

(9,760 posts)It's a shameful indictment of our country's so-called justice system that the bigger the crime--the more money stolen or the more people affected-- the less chance the criminal is punished or even prosecuted.

(26,044 posts)...but don't expect it to have any more impact on the race than the dozen other "devastating" tell-all books, from Fire and Fury to Too Much and Never Enough, all of which vanished from the national consciousness within days of release.

(57,073 posts)But there is a fascination with Cohen because of his role as fixer for chumputin. 🤞

(53,410 posts)The first reaction is very loud and ruffled, but people remember everything. Its just that by now it takes way too long to list everything. And the fact the media isnt talking about all of it doesnt mean its forgotten.
No one has forgotten watching him ride down the escalator, or the children in cages, or him throwing paper towels at the Puerto Ricans. Im sure you havent forgotten any of it either.
I wouldnt pay a cent for anyones book coming out of that filth.

(115,683 posts)Cohen writes that before winning the presidency, Trump held a meeting at Trump Tower with prominent evangelical leaders, where they laid their hands on him in prayer. Afterward, Trump allegedly said: Can you believe that bulls--t? Can you believe people believe that bulls--t? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/cohen-trump-book/2020/09/05/235aa10a-ef96-11ea-ab4e-581edb849379_story.html
They probably won't care, but I guess he likes them as much as he likes the military.

(57,073 posts)But Cohen's book releases Tuesday - same night he will be on with Rachel. Time will tell, I suppose.
And who knows what else will become known by then?
Warpy
(111,255 posts)but I'm sure over the next two weeks, more is going to come out from that book. I also sincerely doubt it will tell all, as Cohen needs to earn a living and a book like this is a one-off.
I just hope he's lost his taste for mobsters with political ambitions.
lunatica
(53,410 posts)criminal sins. So will Cohens book. No one is going to forget anything. Just because something new and atrocious comes along and everyone is talking about it doesnt mean they forget everything that he did before.
