If I were Biden, I would NOT debate Donald Trump

How do you debate a habitual liar? Even if you have a fact checker correct Trump on the spot Trump will make up another lie about what the fact checker said. It's a no win situation. You would just have to respond to everything Trump says beginning with the phrase " That's a lie". It's a worthless effort. Trump will just act like a big asshole bully and re-solidify that part of his base that like that while wasting the time of anyone with even a slight amount of intelligence.

What the debates will show is someone who knows the world, the Constitution, how government works, what principles and values look like, and what the issues are that Americans are most concerned about. Joe Biden will have the advantage he because he knows how to put down a bully with that SEG of his.

All Biden has to do is look at Trump in such a way that will make him explode on live TV by saying, "Marlarkey". Trump will not be invading his space like he did with Hillary Clinton. Trump is up against someone who has the capibility to take him down and humiliate him with a smile.

As morbid as it sounds, I want to see Trump get humiliated by someone way smarter than he is.

Remember how he answered the question about how his next term will be on Fox.

He went on a rant about experience and talent but talent is better but he has experience and blah blah blah.

Ask him about how to stop a pandemic. What is he going to say? Just ask, if another pandemic comes to the US what will you do? Then let Trump tell a story that is 180 degree difference to what he already did or say that stopping people from China coming here will solve everything.

I personally think Trump is going to get out of the debates because 1. Biden is not a woman and 2. Biden is a smart human being and not a trump rally goer.

Voters didn't know what he would do as president, now we know. Many people gave him the benefit of the doubt, that doubt no longer exists.

I think sane people knew he would be a bad president, but I must say that as bad as I thought he would be, he turned out much, much worse. In that respect, he did exceed my expectations. I suppose I, like so many, thought there would be experienced people around him, who would curb his excesses and that our institutions would somehow contain him. Who could have foreseen so-called patriotic republicans in congress giving him a free pass at every turn? Having lived through Watergate, I am incredulous that so few stood up to his monster.

He'll find some reason to back out. Just look at recent press conferences: when Trump gets questioned about lies or missteps, he ends the press conference and walks away.

He won't be able to do that in a debate. His people know that. At this point, Trump probably doesn't have the emotional or physical stamina to make it through a debate.

One strategy would be to just dismiss all the lies out of hand because he is "a liar" or "full of shit", and just respond to those statements that you feel warrant a response.

And if any moderator has the gall to try to have you respond to trump bullshit just dismiss it as ridiculous or foolish or stupid or give it an 'are you kidding me?' or 'seriously, man (or ma'am)?' and move on.
