Snorting Adderall is one of the most dangerous forms of substance abuse imaginable. People who tend to snort Adderall are those who acquire the drug illegally in the black market, usually in higher doses.

The effects of the drug are felt much greater through snorting it. It reaches the brain and creates a rush feeling almost instantaneously. Dextroamphetamine and amphetamine are both habit-forming drugs that, over time, can alter the person’s dependency after larger doses.

Equivalent doses ... yes, you feel it sooner if you snort it. It wears off a bit faster too, but it's not a huge difference ... 10 hours versus 12 hours, that sort of thing.

There's no huge rush from sniffing it, it's nothing like sniffing cocaine or even meth. There's a tiny effect from sniffing it you won't get from eating it, but it's nothing to write home about.

Either way you do it, the full effect takes awhile to develop. Sniffing it you'll have the full effect in about 1.5 hours, eating it ... it takes about 2 hours.

This is assuming sniffing an instant release pill vs eating an instant release pill.

Sniffing vs. eating a time-release pill changes the equation a bit.

I remember what all the opiates look like very well ... but the stimulants I got my hands on are a bit hazier in terms of the looks of the pills.

I can tell you that 'coloration' in/on a pill in no way discourages anyone from sniffing them.

One of THE most coveted narcotics are instant release oxycodone 30mg pills, known as blues or roxys ... and they're quite blue, through and through. And they are both snorted (which I know) and shot up (from what I understand) ... with gusto.
