When I go outside, my eyes hurt. Breathing is another issue. It is pretty bad (I'm in Napa). Temps have been in the 100s. Can't wait for the rainy season!

Watching my neighbors loading up their livestock and herding them down toward safety was just heartbreaking to watch. Everyone got out safe and now we're all just waiting to hear whether we'll have homes to return to soon.

I am all for early evacuation,, having experienced how crowded exit roads can get, because most people wait till the last minute.

We know of some other folks down Molalla way who have also evacuated.

Curiously, they're all residents of Clackamas County and are now sheltering in Multnomah County. Just last week, the Clackamas County Sheriff refused when asked for assistance by Multnomah County with the nightly demonstrations in Portland. He had some rather rude and snide comments in addition to his refusal.

Now, here are Multnomah County residents coming to the aid of Clackamas County residents in their time of need. Because that's what Oregonians do. I recommend this to the Clackamas County Sheriff's attention.
