Interesting that they offloaded the AmNo due to concerns the boat might sink.
AmNo is soluble to more than a 50% solution at 20°C. (54 grams in 50 grams of water). That's more soluble than table salt.
They would have been better off using a box cutter to slit the bags, and sinking the boat.
Would have rendered the stuff harmless.
