There should have been a bunch of ads by Dems saying that Trump and the Repugs will destroy Social Security.

Instead - you get Trump to put out a tweet about SS - saying only he can protect SS and he accuses Biden will destroy it.

He beat the Dems to the punch and now Biden and the Dems will have to defend themselves.

Personally, if it weren’t for everyone freaking out, we’d probably be better off funding SS through general taxes, assuming legislation is airtight (and GOPer) tight. I know people will freak, but around 2032 or so we are going to see an automatic cut of 23%, maybe more.
