I guess I don't live in the rich and entitled world though so I don't meet as many of them. The rich people I know still pretend to be normal people in the office environment.

It's the body language of a child who is afraid and feeling very insecure in the moment.

It's literally sad... It's transparent that he is feeling lost and trying to protect himself.

I don't know of any adult who does that.

... It's a go-to defense posture for narcissists I've known. He has a personality disorder driven by intense insecurity.

I'm sure if there was a door nearby, he would have used it to get out of that situation.
