It is so long past time we installed the ancient, native methods of forest management. The bushland fires aren’t even slowed down now that our forests have accumulated such a thick undergrowth and closely packed second growth trees.

but I'm not sure the ancient native methods had to deal with this climate crisis. Just check the record breaking temperatures in California

That said, if the methods were readopted now, they might help in the overall process of adaptation to our near future and possible reversal of climate catastrophe on behalf of next generations. Couldn’t hurt.
