the reactions make sense, they are organic, the guy doesn't try climbing into the guys car, the guys in the car react like you'd expect humans to react.

The initial video looks staged from the lack of any normal reaction to a guy climbing into your car and walking over you to the "reaction" by the driver after it's over.

I have seen some before. I understand they all have cameras in their cars. They aren't aliens, and they still operate like normal humans.

not like your average person when an unknown person just walks into their car and over them?

Look, you appear to think I'm questioning the presence of a car camera or that it's filming. I'm not. They do it all over.

I'm questioning the authenticity of the reactions.

They don't look Russian--dress is wrong, phenotypes are skewed. The writing isn't Russian. Can't tell what it is, but the letters are wrong. Things dip below or reach above the block of lower case letters differently in Russian--if it is Russian on the signs, it's highly marked Russian.

The youtube title says "in Russia they'd already be run over." He wasn't; the title implicates that they're not in Russia.

(And, I'd add, that I would *never* do the assholery that the guy performs for the video in Russia. I suspect I would be run over. At the very least honked at, threatened with being run over, and possibly have both the driver and others screaming at me.)

10. The very *last* time I stopped in a crosswalk

Sep 2020

An older gentleman walked directly to the passenger door, walked around the front of my car (making very sharp, deliberate turns), stopped directly beside me/the drivers door and made the final sharp turn to finish his walk across the street.

My passenger laughed and said, "That looked like something your Dad would do!!"

Very last time.

I was a runner and to get to Central Park I had to dodge cabs left and right - it was an eternal battle between runners and cabs.

The situation was perfect - he knew he was in the crosswalk and I wasn't in the best mood myself, so I just did it.

I sure as hell wouldn't do that today though. I've grown up.

it's even more infuriating when cars are making turns and don't even look for pedestrians walking across the clearly marked crosswalk with a walk signal. Pedestrians get hit by cars all the time in my city. Some have died.
