6. the truth of the matter is....

.... most of us here at Democratic Underground knew that several days ago. That's because the first attacks that I was aware of came from right here, which Trump immediately adopted to minimize his involvement and to deflect blame to Woodward. A lot of people just couldn't understand that they were helping to feed the GOP fire. You might say that a lot of us accurately predicted the attacks would be on Woodward, but they started a lot sooner then Monday, and even sooner than today.

You can kind of get a feeling when something is parroted, and that Bob Woodward's fault definitely had the cadence, and blanketing effect of a snow-job. But... that didn't live too long...maybe a day? Lots of good ads came out of it, but I don't see why they would want to draw any more attention to Woodward's book. If they do, that's fine....but I think there will be more stories coming out that will take it out of the spotlight.
