All of these are exceptionally good numbers for Biden. All above 50%, which means very few undecideds. And very little ability for dotard to even catch Biden, let alone pass him. Even the seniors which is a very dependable voting block for the gop...nope!
And the AA community...to the rescue..thank you

Too bad it has taken 4 years of the Trump/Puttin wrecking ball to. to keep a third party spoiler out of the race.

(2,061 posts)her supporters would have stayed home on Election Day. Supporters of fringe candidates are like that - no candidate, no voting. It was similar with Nader in 2000, according to exit polls I remember reading at the time. His supporters were a mix of Libertarians and disaffected Dems who wouldn't have been motivated to vote at all if he hadn't been running. So I believe we have to look beyond the Green Party to account for the losses of Clinton and Gore.

(108,977 posts)Bernie and Jill hurt Hillary. If Bernie hadn't waited till October to seriously campaign for her, and if Jill Stein wasn't trolling for votes, the outcome could have been different.
Hillary was more liberal than any President had ever been, and her platform was a consensus platform approved by Bernie, but you'd never know it to listen to some of Stein's idiot campaign team members.

If anything, with a liberal Supreme Court, there are all kinds of things that we could do.

And I keep asking - where were they when the immigration crisis boiled over at the border, and toddlers were being taken from their mothers and/or fathers and warehoused in fucking CAGES??? And then scattered all over the US where they can probably never be found, leaving their parents desperate and heartsick?
And these Latinos are supporting tRUMP???? W. T. F. ? ? ?

(10,429 posts)The only thing ugly is the fact that anyone would support MF45. Anyone other than white billionaires, those are the only people who he's helped. It's ugly that so many people are apparently racists, been hiding it for years, and now feel free to act on it. That's ugly. What I said is fact, ugly or not.
I can't tell you why so many women are voting for the pussy-grabber. I don't understand why anyone other than a racist or a billionaire would vote for him.

2) Pendejo45 seems to collect non-college educated voters in droves and there are a lot of non-college educated Hispanics.
3) A lot of Hispanics are Catholics and they vote on abortion.
When I used to call voters in previous elections, I'd get the Hispanic voters because I speak Spanish. Almost all would say they voted based on abortion.
I had to convince them that abortion is a religious issue not a political issue. Then I'd get into the political issues and some would start to understand what was really happening.

(7,402 posts)Are black suburban women only counted as black or ore the counted as black and suburban and women. Same with Hispanic voters.
If people are only single counted and white women favor Biden by 15% along with the other large margins for Biden and white men with a college degree are evenly divided then the non-college educated white male would have to favor Trump something like 75-25 in order for the race to be tight. I suspect that they are counting people in every category that the qualify for and that would be highly misleading. But then this is Fox News too.
Thekaspervote
(32,762 posts)DallasNE
(7,402 posts)I was asking what the methodology is. It can be deceiving even when done properly. My guess is that they count them in every category for which they qualify. A black Hispanic woman living in the suburbs would ring a lot of bells.

ProfessorGAC
(65,010 posts)Some count them in every category that applies, some count them in one, most applicable category.
When there are silos like race, gender, rural vs. urban vs. suburban, educational level, & the like it's awfully hard to fit one person into one silo.
So, in this case, they're comparing characteristics. They probably put each person into all applicable silos.
DallasNE
(7,402 posts)You have to know the methodology in order to properly analyze the results.
If you drop a person in each silo then the result is highly distorted because many people would be dropped in but 1 silo while others are dropped in 5 silo's. To me they would need to slice up the "many silo's" person. One silo, one vote - 4 silo's 1/4 vote in each silo. But that causes a different type of distortion, I would think. But maybe not.
ProfessorGAC
(65,010 posts)This type of analysis isn't meant to provide a generalized view.
We should only be looking at each line, stand alone.
You're correct that any attempt to aggregate the data would not result in a wholly valid result.
We have to more subjectively view it as 9 or 10 line items, all but one of which, favor Biden.
But, to do an quantitative view overall would take a completely different approach.
Which of course, is done by simply asking the question, "Who are you going to vote for?"
These type of analyses seem more an attempt to explain the 8-10 point lead Biden enjoys rather than predict an outcome.

(10,828 posts)The gazillion $ that Bloomberg is investing in the Florida race is important in aiming directly at Hispanic voters and carpet bombing the state with messaging. But in the end, it's getting our voters to the polls in massive numbers. If the strategy works and Joe Biden sweeps Florida, the national race/electoral college is won because there is no path for Trump without Florida, not with the numbers coming out of the Midwest all favoring Joe Biden. The demographics are on our side because the demographics are who we are as a country.
And who we are as a country, a people, is what this election is all about. United we are strong, unbeatable. We need to remember that. We need to make it an indisputable fact on November 3rd.
Btw, those 50+ percentiles are . . . absolutely beautiful.
