He has his own army of supporters. He's probably still the most popular political figure in the entire world. He's let Trump get away with taking credit for the economy. Calling him a traitor amd putting the life of himself and his family in jeopardy. I just can't get over all this decorum crap. These are not regular times.

(28,845 posts)Cant please everyone. He disappointed me in the Wisconsin Recall.
But that makes me love him all the more. Hes truly a human being and Id vote him back in a second.
He gets to be a citizen now and do whatever he wants.

(3,054 posts)Or 25%. If you add Michelle the DNC was half or 50% Obamas.
They have served us and continue to do so everyday.

(10,072 posts)he has spoken out several times and continues to do so, by twitter and in many public zoom meetings etc. He has left the decorum behind. I expect we will be seeing more of him and Michelle in the coming weeks as well.

(1,671 posts)President Obama knows you don't give your opponent want they want. It's more frustrating for the Orange Menace for Obama to throw shade than it is for him to be all up in OM's face. You do see how Trump uses that kind of offense to feed red meat to his rabid supporters, right? "Oh, he's being mean to me, your most favorite president in the history of the world."

I bet there are a lot of regrets.

(6,377 posts)Hes extremely hated by Trumps base. If he was constantly out bashing Trump, every right wing media source would be playing them end on end to rally the base. They very successfully used Obama as a boogeyman from 2009-2016.

(12,904 posts)Obama can say more with a wink and a nod than Trump can convey in 100 poorly composed tweets.
If were gonna see trump pay for his crimes, Obama must follow the rules and norms, so the whiny orange babys lawyers dont have grounds to get him off on a technicality.
Obama didnt cause or perpetuate ANY of Trumps shitty policies. Its all on his administration, and I prefer to see it kept that way.
