while $$$ can't replace a valued, loved family member (or a friend) since the general cycle (not counting those who don't) is for a child/children to help their folks in old age. This will help that one important aspect.

I think changing the monies from taxes to the pension funds might be the way to go as pointed out it might force the better cops to get rid of the overtly violent racist one while other efforts root out systemic racism in policing like having police live in the city, area they're proctecting, community policing, genuine meet ups etc.
Of course, getting police to start (and a lot of white people in general) to "just" See black people (esp men, black teen, tweens, kids) as not automatically criminals, harmful at the leaat (!) to start to break this violent intermitable cycle.
