Today we sunk a rail car & other recycled material at an artificial reef off of Long Island one of 12 artificial reefs in NY.
NY's expanded artificial reef program is improving the marine ecosystem, boosting local economies, and helping prevent shoreline erosion.

I used to ride the buses and subways in NYC from the 50s thru the 70s. So the first trains I remember had straw seats and porcelain hand holds. But I think the cars that go into the drink are probably from the 70s. Eerie looking down there but great homes for sea creatures.
