Tik Tok Could Save America

Okay I’m exaggerating, but only a little bit. Since trump said he’s banning download of the app on Sunday, I finally downloaded it this morning.

Dang! It made me happy. Made me laugh. Taught me a bit. Made me feel better about the human race.

Flipping through 60 second videos with a simple swipe of the finger is so much more satisfying than falling into the deep dark holes of YouTube or the endless meandering faceless texts of Twitter or the mostly unimaginative simple tribes of FB. Humanity in amazing forms: entertaining with skilled acrobatics, warm happy dances, brief science lessons, humorous cooks, energetic satire, lip synchers and hysterical comic moments. If you feel like you love the human race as a whole, you’ll probably enjoy seeing these creations.

It’s beautiful, creative, inventive, individually expressive, and 16 billion times more entertaining than Donald J Grump. I laughed a LOT and felt GOOD about people.

And for better or worse, it’s like being immersed in the ocean. As I stumbled across random people doing anti-Trump videos, I realized this TikTok thing is a force of nature that would be impossible for trumpies to control. No wonder he wants to make sure it doesn’t spread to his base. The right handful of videos could actually crack the ceiling of their bubble, and light might come streaming in.

If you haven’t tried it, I suggest doing so, sometime before Sunday.

Want to get young adults to vote? Tell them you are banning their favorite way of expressing themselves.

When I first got it, I got a few trumphumper contributions. I told it I didn't like that and haven't seen any since. It learns what you like and dislike pretty well and pretty fast.

Just to spite Trump. Best free advertising Tik Tok could ever dream of.
Get yours before Sunday.

It’s a smoother experience on the phone. I don’t have it, but have used it on others phones.
