But they might get one seat, then have the Dems turn around and appoint two more justices.

Grassley's statement was in 2018, I think.
Collins would be stupid to do it since a big reason she's losing is because of Kavanagh.

All these were hypothetical statements. We'll see how many stand up to their Party's pressure to "stop a Democrat president from appointing a liberal!!!"

The only way I think Mitchie would give them permission to hold to this position is if he's gotten confirmation that Manchin will once again break ranks and vote to confirm.

Collins will say she won't until election day to try and score some points in her re-election bid. However, as usual with her, she won't keep her word after election day.

I bet Collins would have no problem voting for whoever the fuck is up there if she doesn’t have to face voters again. Mitt Romney has already basically endorsed Amy Coney Barrett, i think he’d have a hard time voting against her.
