I've got a non-stop tummyache. Do you?

The worry and fear and stress have affected me so much in recent weeks that I can't stand wearing anything with a waistband.

It's not from weight gain; I've actually lost a few pounds. The stress is giving me a painful knot in the gut that won't quit.

Unfortunately I need to wear pants in order to go to the store or do yard work. But I'm going for the pants with the loosest, softest fit around the waist.

So if I should happen to bend over, and my loose pants happen to fall, and I inadvertently moon my neighbors or fellow shoppers, folks should accept this as the political message that it is.

My stomach is pretty sour. This is the first time I’ve had this in a while. Worrying about things I have no control over is my weakness. Ill get better and start writing more letters for the vote forward campaign and send my monthly contributions to Biden and Senate candidates and stay busy getting ready for potential hurricane beta cause it looks like it might be coming our way.

For the last 4 years. Although it has always been a problem since I was a little girl.

I live in sweats around the house so I can have a ‘forgiving’ waist band. I have gained a few pounds in the last year due to inactivity and stress eating. I walk as much as my joints and stamina allow.

Without getting too graphic, I wish my doctor had actually prescribed that IBS-C medication instead of handing me a slip of paper with the instructions to research a FODMAP diet.

I can’t sleep more than about 5 hours a night, and am sure I am depressed. I retired in March 2019 and had nearly one great year of less stress and fun activities.

This year, just as COVID hits, my finances changed drastically for reasons I can’t go into. So now I am dipping into my savings at 66 to make ends meet instead of holding off until 70. Everything is crashing down now. I am hoping that in 2021, if we can get COVID more controlled, I can pick up some sort of job part-time to lessen the negative cash flow.

Yea, to answer your question “symbolically” I have A non-stop tommyache too.

Hope you feel better soon, but I would get the pain looked at if it continues too much longer.

Sounds like you're going through a rough time. I'm so sorry.

All I can say is try to be good to yourself in whatever way works
.
Mine is usually a cup of tea and a mystery novel. When I get too aggravated, I go in the yard and take it out on the weeds.

I think many of us will feel a lot better once the election results are settled and Biden is president-elect.

I love who done it novels!!!

Sounds like we are soul sisters?
