I'm not as hopeful as Schmidt's post leads on. Trump and his supporters (also known as "fuckers&quot will sow chaos and create so much uncertainty that we're in for a very rough post-election period. Very rough.

The R's response to RBG's death will be an America-breaker. I truly believe the American experiment has run its course. As much as I want the USA to be the leader in every respect, I'm afraid that China will take that position within a decade or less. And, it won't be the "good" world leadership that the US and Europe has been providing since WW2.

win the Presidency, it would be a simple majority in Congress (from my understanding of the Constitution, and I truthfully don't claim to be an expert by any means, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong) to create the two new States, DC and Puerto Rico, which are both GROSSLY overdue.

From there, that is your impetus to expand the court, so as to give equal representation to the two new states.

It's certainly not impossible, and if the Trump regime taught us anything (assuming we WIN in November), it's that we MUST. BE. BOLD. Enact REAL change that levels ther playing field, or there won't be a field to play on anymore.
